ABOUT THE PRODUCT:
Henna—also known as mehndi—comes from the dried and ground leaves of the Lawsonia Inermis plant, grown in hot, dry climates. When mixed into a paste, the lawsone dye molecules bind with keratin in the skin or hair, creating a stain that deepens the longer the paste remains applied. This powder has been used traditionally for centuries across the Persian Gulf, North Africa, and South Asia.
